The Art Farm in the City has weekly summer camps. The program, for children ages 3-8 years, offers activities such as cooking, science experiments, nature, music, drama, outdoor play, and they even get to learn about animals hands-on in their award-winning petting zoo!

British International School provides a summer camp with full day or half day scheduling options for children ages 3-7. Children participate in sports, arts and crafts, science, music, drama, outdoor games, and free play time.

Camp Intrepid is an inter-disciplinary full-day camp for 5-13 year olds. The camp has a weekly theme which is supplemented by the hands-on activities and explorations at the museum.

Campus Kids holds weekday sleep away camps in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Children ages 7-15 spend the week at camp doing crafts, music, sports, and other traditional camp activities, then return home for the weekends.

Claremont Prep offers two summer programs, Camp Claremont, where swimming lessons in the school pool will be an integral part of the summer experience for children ages 3 through entering 3rd grade; as well as Camp Academies, which offers specialized programs from music, arts, cooking, and sports to students entering 4th-8th grades.

Downtown Day Camp offers a wide variety of activities for children entering K-8th grades. Camp will take place at the new Downtown Community Center.

14th Street Y offers a variety of day camp programs, which in the past included mini camps for children as young as 17 months - 3.5 years, a day camp where the children are involved in everything from music to science for children 3.6-6 years of age, and a country day camp located in Staten Island for children entering K-6th grade.

Friends Seminary offers a variety of day camp programs for children starting at age 3 and continuing through 8th grade. Older campers engage in creative projects, participate in service learning projects, and learn about sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and more. Younger campers split their day between creative activities and outdoor/sports activities.

Lavner Camps offers experiences in sports, technology, the arts, and more, with a wide range of highly focused camps for your child/children. The curriculum is structured so that each camper is challenged and skill sets are improved. Technology and creative arts camps are offered at NYU's Kimmel Center for ages 6 to 15.

Little Red School House and Elizabeth Irwin High School (LREI) offers a variety of day camps for children age 3.5 through entering 8th grade. Children are grouped into programs by age and can select from a range of choice classes.

Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center provides a Summer Day Camp for children K-8th grade with a full-day (9-5) of activities such as swimming, art, media, sports, etc. The camp takes place at PS 234, located in Tribeca.

McBurney YMCA offers traditional day camp as well as sports camps (soccer, swimming, volleyball, basketball, martial arts) and specialty camps with topics like cooking, dance, film making and science. Children ages 12-15 can participate in the Y Travelers camp where they participate in activities at a new site each day. Financial assistance is available.

New York City Explorers offers a Summer Adventure Camp for ages 5-10 and a Summer Preschool Camp for ages 2-4. Based in Brooklyn, the camp hours are 8:00-4:00 p.m. with complimentary extended hours available.

Oasis offers general recreational day camps in three New York City boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens), Westchester, Long Island, and New Jersey for children ages 4-11. Oasis also has summer travel and leadership programs for children ages 12-15 years.

Parks Summer Camps are offered at a few recreation centers for children ages 6-13 in various parks in Manhattan. Programs are traditional in their arrangement and are offered at the Alfred E. Smith, Hansborough and Tony Dapolito recreation centers. Programs are offered in the other boroughs as well.

74th St MAGIC offers a Summer Days Camp for ages 2.5-6 years. Activites vary with its weekly themes, but daily activities include music, art, science and gymnastics. Camp is offered for half-days for children 2.5-3 years; children 3-6 years register for a 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. program.

Trinity Day Camp (TDC) sponsored by Trinity School, is a co-ed day camp for children ages 4-11. Located at 101 West 91st Street, TDC offers a range of activities including on site swimming instruction, athletics, arts and crafts, tennis, science and dance. Camp sessions run from June through July and camp hours are 8:30-3:30 p.m.
