American Museum of Natural History offers a variety of programs for different age groups, ranging from K to high school grade. Options include two week summer institutes for students in 7th & 8th grade, as well as programs for students entering 2nd through 7th grade with a special focus on the brain, astrophysics, fossils & DNA, frogs, or dinosaurs. Campers entering 1st grade can register for a special camp that provides hands-on experiences in a sampling of disciplines.
The Art Farm in the City has weekly summer camps. The program, for children ages 3-8 years, offers activities such as cooking, science experiments, nature, music, drama, outdoor play, and they even get to learn about animals hands-on in their award-winning petting zoo!
Bank Street holds several science programs that serve children ages 4-14. Younger campers (4-8) explore by visiting museums and creating projects. Older campers (8-14) focus on video, computer, and theatrical technology skills.
Cooper Union Summer Research Internship Program Cooper Union's Albert Nerken School of Engineering offers 6-week Summer Research Internship Programs for students completing their 10th or 11th grade year of high school. Students work on applied research projects in the fields of civil, chemical, electrical, mechanical, biomedical and environmental engineering, mathematics, chemistry, physics and astronomy. Research projects are complemented by classroom lectures and discussions, oral presentations, career choice, and college admissions.

Curious Jane, sponsored by Girls Dream Out Loud is a science and design camp for girls in 3rd-6th grade located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. The camp is offered in several sessions, each with a different theme.
Hollingworth Science Camp, an academic enrichment camp sponsored by Teacher’s College of Columbia University, provides children completing grades K-4 an opportunity to participate in hands-on science classes. Themes are identified for each grade level and include botany, flight, and the human body. Science activities are complemented with traditional recreational activities (swimming, trips to the park, etc.)
Internal Drive offers iD Tech Camps at NYU's campus, are provided in a variety of topics, including Game Design, Web and Graphic Design, and Video Editing. Children and teens ages 7-17 can choose an iD Tech Camp that specifically suits their interests.
Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum offers two summer camps: Camp Intrepid 2011 for children 5-13 years old and a free six-week math and science camp for girls entering the 9th and 10th grade called, Camp G.O.A.L.S. for Girls 2011.
Launch Math offers an assortment of one week summer camps on Manhattan’s Upper West Side for children aged 6 to 12 years. Campers can choose from among a number of specialties including, building robots, launching high-flying rockets, designing video games, creating visual animations, and hands-on experience with electronics. Field trips and daily afternoon science, sports, and adventure activities take place in Central Park. Summer program hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Liberty Science Center, located in Jersey City, NJ offers the Partners in Science, an intensive 8-week summer program for high school Juniors and Seniors. The program runs from the end of June to the end of August. Students receive a stiped upon completion of all program requirements.
Mad Science offers many different science camps at different locations throughout the city, including Manhattan and Brooklyn. Camp programs range in ages, from 1st to 5th grade in various topics.
Marymount Summer is a program of Marymount School that offers a variety of summer day programs including a five-week Science and Technology Camp. Camps are offered to children ages 5-13.
The Nature Place Day Camp offers a traditional camp program (daily swimming, hiking, archery, music, and arts) with lots of exposure to nature and farm activities. The camp welcomes children ages 4 to 16 years for four, five, or six weeks. Located in Rockland Country, bus transportation is available throughout Manhattan and elsewhere.
The Nature Place - Farm and Garden Days at the Nature Place Day Camp is a second, specialized program offered during early August for one or two-week sessions. Campers ages 6-12 years spend their days in their biodynamic gardens, involved with hands-on activities such as composting, berry picking, collecting eggs and petting chickens, working with honey bees, smelling the flowers, tasting herbs, making dyes from plants, and exploring plant life cycles. Located in Rockland Country, bus transportation is available throughout Manhattan and elsewhere.

New York Math Circle offers students in Grades 5-12 the opportunity to expand their knowledge of mathematics By solving unusual problems, develop reasoning and problem solving skills, and apply existing knowledge in fun situations that are both new and enjoyable.
Poly Prep Country Day School offers Tech Camp for ages 5-14. The program takes into consideration the students' interests, but includes everything from using the internet to web design. This camp is located in Brooklyn at Poly Prep Country Day School's Dyker Heights Campus.
Summer Camp Live! is a unique camp sponsored by Queens County Farm Museum and the Samuel Field YM-YWHA. Located in Floral Park, NY, the camp offers a full six-week farm program and flexible mini-sessions for children entering 1st through 5th grades. The program includes activities related to science, nature, cooking, arts & crafts, and agriculture.
Robo Fun offers one week summer camp programs from June 13 through September 2. Campers can choose to enroll in specialty camps in robotics, video game design, and claymation or a program that provides hands-on experience in a variety of areas. The camp runs during the hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Science Teacher Sarah leads hands-on activities and regular day trips around New York City in the summer Science Adventure Camp. Campers experience and are exposed to a diverse set of science topics. The program is designed for campers preschool-age through grade 5.
Science & Technology Entry Program (STEP) and the Building Excellence in Science and Technology (BEST) Program at NYU is an innovative pre-college enrichment program for talented middle and high school students in New York City. Our goal is to encourage and increase the presence of historically under-represented groups in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM careers) and licensed professions.
Stone Barn Center’s Farm Camp is a camp for rising 1st-8th graders who are interested in learning how a farm works. Through weekly themes and varied activities, all campers experience garden work, animal chores, crafts, games and hiking. The program explores the farm-to-table connection where all participants pitch in both in the garden and in the kitchen. Located at a real farm in Westchester, NY, weekly sessions are available mid-June to mid-August and runs daily from 9:00-3:15 p.m.
Summer Science at Corlears, designed for children 3-4, 5-6, and 7-10 years of age, offers three 2-week sessions (June 24 through August 2) and explore a new theme each session with an overall focus on Nature in the City.
SummerTech Computer Camp offers a great opportunity for girls and boys ages 8-16 years who are interested in computer games and high-tech learning. Held at SUNY Purchase in Westchester, New York from July 3rd through August 5th, the program is available for both commuters and overnight campers. Participants may select different courses in animated moviemaking, web coding, or game design.
